This series focuses on three men who shared the same history and were given a similar opportunity, yet they did not experience the same outcome. While “The Three Stooges” were fictional characters known for comedic relief, this trio are characters Jesus used to tell a serious story of identity and responsibility. Together we’ll look into the pages of history to find out what the Kingdom of Heaven is like, and as a result, we’ll discover how God sees us, how we should view ourselves, and what we should do with the time, talents, and treasures we’ve been given.
“I found God.”
“I came back to God.”
Statements and sentiments like this are common, but that doesn’t mean they’re accurate. The most amazing thing about a story of faith isn’t that “we came to God” is that “God came to us.” This is an important revelation and distinction because when we get this part of the story backwards, it impacts everything – how we view ourselves and what we do or don’t do.
In the first part of this series, we’ll look at Jesus’s famous tale of “The Three Stooges” and discover who the “Master” is and, as a result, what the implications are for each of us today.
