Dysfunctional Family Christmas - Part 3 // Scott Landry

Episode Summary

At Christmas we sing, “God and sinner reconciled,” because that’s what Christmas did. Christmas represents reconciliation between God and people. But what about between person and person? Christmas is the time we’re reconnected with our family, and reminded of unresolved issues within our family. Christmas is the time where for an hour or two, or maybe day or two, you have to pretend that everything is fine. Pretending that what actually happened didn’t happen. Pretending that your family is the perfect family everybody thinks you are, not the dysfunctional family you know you are. It’s Christmas. You’re supposed to be cheerful. As we close this Christmas series, we’re going to unwrap how to demonstrate what we celebrate.
